How It All Began

School Principal Victoria Walker-Ford began dancing at the age of 5 at the G School of Dance in Widnes. She became a student teacher at the age of 12 and then fully qualified to teach at the age of 18 through the Allied Dancing Association. She also studied Dance at A – Level before moving on to study Dance at Chester University.

After leaving University and a taking a year out to perform in Musicals and Panto, Vicky set up Centre Stage in January 2010. She started with just 4 children and has since grown to over 70 offering a variety of classes throughout the week with the help of student teachers she has danced with for many years.

Vicky is CRB checked with Public Liability Insurance so you can rest assured that your child learns to dance in a fun and safe environment.

I was at the same dance school for 18 years. They provided me with a wonderful family environment and that’s exactly how I want my school to be run. My approach is firm but fair and to understand every child’s strengths and needs.
